Quick look back on 2012:

  • About 800 chukkers played
  • Swiss Low Goal Championship won by team Lynx Energy against Swiss German from Rocinante
  • Victory of home « squad » (Veytay/JLC) against Lynx Energy in front of about 5'000 spectators and celebration of 10-year partnership between the Manufacture from le  Sentier and the club around this event
  • 5th Friendship Cup taken away by the Piaget team, new sponsor in Veytay
  • Emphasis on developping « smaller » competitions like the Opening Tournament and the National Holiday Cup with among other things, a bar as well as music set up besides the field
  • A growing contingent of players (confirmed and beginners) both among the adults and juniors (12-18 years old)
  • Introduction of pony lessons for children (8-12 years old)
  • An intensive clinc organized in May

All in all, a very good year...

The club aims at doing even better in 2013. The 2013 calendar can be donwloaded below. Among the new things :

  • Organization of a 10-day intensive polo clinic in Argentina in March, in order to kick-off the season in the best possible way
  • An arena polo tournament over 2 weekends in April with teams from Suisse romande and Suisse alémanique
  • An initiation day for members’ families and friends mid-June
  • Hosting the Swiss Medium Goal Championship, the highest league of Swiss polo, on the last weekend of June
  • A new tournament, the Lac Léman Trophy, in July
  • A ligth raise of the handicap in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polo Masters 2013 compared to the 2012 edition ; now hp 6-8. The tournament’s 25th anniversary will also be celebrated
  • etc...
