During the weekend of the 30th of July to the 1st of August 3 teams met to play the cup of the national holiday. 2 local teams and one visiting team from Zürich participated and played on the beautiful fields of Veytay with the return of the summer. The Polo Park de Zurich team (Remi Duddler, Beata duddler, Peter Wohlfender and Walter Cortez) won the tournament by winning 12 to 10 goals against Veytay white and 7 to 6 goals against Veytay Blue.
The Veytay blue team (Simon Luginbühl, Claire Payne, Jean Baptiste Ory, Jacques Benveniste and Audrey Kohli) took the second place followed by Veytay White (Sarah Krasker, Patrick Strasser, Martin Luginbühl et Valerie Khasawneh). The playing level was excellent and the good mood and fair play was at the rendez-vous. The palyers as well as the horses are ready to take it to the next level – The Jaeger-LeCoulture Polo Masters.
