1985 – Yves Luginbühl discovers Polo in Argentina
1987 – Construction of field number 1 starts
1988 – Field number 1 is officially inaugurated and the first international tournament is won by the Pink Panthers with John Manconi
1991 – Sarah Ferguson, the duchess of York assists the Royal Polo Gala at Veytay
1992 – Field number 2 is inaugurated
1992 – Horacio Heguy, back then handicapped 10, is one of the players of the international tournament
1993 – The first competition of elegance collection cars is organized
1995 – Veytay participates at the organization of the first Polo tournament in Gstaad
1997 – Field number 3 is completed
1997 – The first demonstration match by the Polo school takes place during the annual international tournament
2000 – The club organizes the Maharajah Cup
2001 – The S.F.P. team (later renamed to SBP) wins the Jeager-Lecoultre Polo Masters for 4 consecutive years.
2002 – The Arena is inaugurated
2002 – The first foals are borne at Veytay – Mahora, Gingko and Bakou
2003 and 2004 – The club participates at the organization of the Lancia Polo Cup à Genève, Zug and Zürich (main train station)
2004 – The “Nocheros”, a Veytay based team all aged below 25, win the Medium goal Swiss Championships
2007 – the club organizes a Polo demonstration in Crans-Montana
2007 – The Jaeger-LeCoultre team wins the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polo Masters for 3 consecutive years.
2008 – First edition of the Verbier Polo cup in the form of a demonstration match
2008 – First time in history that club members participate at the European championships in Hamburg under the national colours
2009 – Verbier Polo cup takes place with 4 International teams
2010 – More than 5'000 spectators show up for the finales of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polo Masters
2010 – The Swiss team composed of three members of Veytay finish 4th at the European Championships in Vienna.
2011 – Construction of an "open stalling" housing that can accommodate 65 horses during the winter season
2012 – 10 years of collaboration with Jaeger-LeCoultre
2013 – 25th edition of the Polo Masters
2015 – Construction of a new stable. Eleven wooden boxes of 12m2 each with rubber floor
2017 - 100th anniversary of the Luginbühl family in Veytay
2019 - 30th anniversary of the Polo Club de Veytay
